All-on-X Dental Implants
The All-on-X procedure is a state-of-the-art solution for replacing a full arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed, permanent set of new teeth. The "X" is a variable representing the number of implants used (typically four, six, or eight), customized to each patient's specific jawbone density and oral health needs.
Benefits of All-on-X Dental Implants
Permanent & Secure Solution
Unlike removable dentures that can slip or require messy adhesives, All-on-X prostheses are fixed in place, functioning like natural teet
Faster Treatment Timeline
The procedure often allows for temporary teeth placement in a single day and avoids the long waits associated with bone grafting required by traditional methods.
Improved Quality of Life
Restores the ability to eat a wider variety of foods, speak clearly, and smile with confidence.
Enhanced Aesthetics
Custom-designed to look and feel natural, the prosthesis provides a beautiful, seamless smile.
Preserves Jawbone Health
The removable nature of the expander allows patients to brush and floss normally, reducing the risk of cavities and gum disease that can be higher with fixed appliances.
Durable & Long-Lasting
With proper care and regular maintenance, the implants can last a lifetime, and the prosthetics for decades.
Procedure Overview
The All-on-X process typically spans 4 to 6 months from the initial consultation to the placement of the final permanent teeth, involving several key visits. The planning process for All-on-X implants is a highly detailed, technologically advanced phase that ensures precision, predictability, and a successful long-term outcome. It is often described as "prosthetic-driven," meaning the final result (your new teeth and smile) is designed first, and the surgical plan is built around that goal.
Consultation and Planning (1-2 Visits):
Initial Consultation: A thorough examination of your oral health, discussion of your treatment goals, and review of your medical and dental history.
Imaging & Planning: Advanced 3D imaging (like a Cone Beam CT scan) is performed to assess bone structure and density, after which a personalized treatment plan and a surgical guide are developed.

Surgical Procedure & Temporary Teeth (1 Visit): The implant placement surgery is typically a single outpatient procedure, where you can often receive a functional temporary smile on the same day.
Surgery Day: Under anesthesia or sedation, any remaining damaged teeth are extracted, and the four to eight implants are strategically placed in the jawbone. The surgery typically takes 2 to 3 hours per arch.
Immediate Temporary Prosthesis: A temporary set of fixed, non-removable teeth is attached to the implants immediately after surgery, allowing you to leave the office with a functional smile.
2
Final Restoration (2-4 Visits): Once healing is complete, the process of receiving your permanent, custom-made teeth begins.
Impressions & Records: Detailed measurements and impressions of your healed implants and jaw are taken.
Try-in Appointments: One or two "try-in" appointments verify the fit, appearance, and function of the final prosthesis.
Final Placement: Your custom-designed, durable permanent teeth are securely attached to the implants, completing your smile transformation.
Healing and Osseointegration (2-3 Visits): This is the crucial biological phase where the implants integrate with the jawbone.
Duration: This period usually lasts between 3 to 6 months.
Follow-up Checkups: Periodic short appointments monitor the healing progress, ensure the temporary prosthesis is functioning correctly, and confirm proper osseointegration.
