Before your visit
Make sure to brush and floss your teeth! This will ensure that our dentist can examine your teeth quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly.
When you arrive
When you arrive at our office, please speak with the front desk staff. They will inform the dentist while you fill out all the necessary paperwork. This will include information about your medical and dental history. We let our new patients know that the more details and information we have related to their dental history, the better. When you come to us, know that you will never be judged and don’t need to be embarrassed. Our staff is very understanding and supportive.
During your consultation
During your visit, our dentist will review your dental and medical history to better understand your oral health and identify any underlying issues. Depending on your needs, X-rays may be taken to detect problems that aren’t easily visible during an exam. We will also provide a detailed assessment that includes an examination of your gums and teeth.
Next, one of our dental hygienists will perform a professional cleaning to remove plaque and polish your teeth. We will also recommend the best products—such as toothpaste, sealants, and mouthwashes—to help maintain your dental health.
This is a great time to ask questions or discuss any concerns, including cosmetic procedures you’re interested in.
If any issues are found, our dentist will explain treatment options and create a personalized care plan. We’ll schedule your next visit based on the dentist’s recommendation and your availability.
